METAMİN Mümessillik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is a fully customer-based refractory manufacturer company focused on continuously improving quality through innovation with more than 50 years experience. Established in 1970 as an agency for various foreign firms serving Turkish steel and aluminium market, METAMIN started its own manufacturing process in 1992.
Headquartered in Tekirdağ / Turkey, METAMİN employs approximately 150 qualified personnel. The company is the only local producer and market leader for steel ladle gas purging plugs in Turkey. Exporting 40% of its production to more than 25 countries worldwide, METAMİN is an important niche global player in the refractory market.

ÇORLU PLANT
We increased our production capacity and product range with our facility located in Tekirdag-Çorlu. Çorlu plant started production in 2010 with 8500 m² covered area.

We use this system effectively in our production and sales activities to ensure product traceability. We carry out regular sampling, product quality follow-up and R&D activities in our own laboratory. We apply statistical process control methods in evaluating our quality data. Our measuring equipment has been calibrating regularly by means of authorized calibration firms. Our engineers are involved in R&D activities by collaborating with Istanbul Technical University Chemical Metalurgy Faculty.
